These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the Leci POS mobile application ("Application") for Android and iOS devices, created and operated by Rafli Farhan Naji ("Service Provider", "we", "us", or "our"). The Application is offered as a Freemium service.
By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you ("User", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using the Application.
1. Description of Service
Leci POS is a Point of Sale (POS) application designed for restaurants, retail businesses, and other commercial establishments. The Application provides the following core features:
- Sales & Transaction Management — Process sales, manage orders, and record transactions.
- Product & Inventory Management — Create, edit, and track products and stock levels.
- Multi-Store Management — Manage one or more store locations depending on your subscription plan.
- Customer Management — Store and manage customer records for your business.
- Expense Tracking — Record and categorize business expenses.
- Business Analytics & Reporting — View sales reports, revenue analytics, and business performance data.
- AI Business Assistant — An AI-powered chat assistant that provides business insights, sales analysis, and operational recommendations based on your business data.
- Receipt Printing — Print receipts via Bluetooth thermal printers.
- WhatsApp Receipt Sharing — Send digital receipts to customers via WhatsApp integration (WAHA API).
- Barcode Scanning — Scan product barcodes using your device camera.
- PDF & CSV Export — Generate and export reports in PDF and CSV formats.
- Cloud Sync — Synchronize your business data across devices via cloud services.
2. Account Registration & Authentication
- 2.1. To use the Application, you must create an account using one of the following methods:
- Email and password
- Google Sign-In
- Apple Sign-In
- 2.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- 2.3. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration, including your business name, address, and contact details.
- 2.4. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the Application.
3. Subscription Plans & Payments
- 3.1. The Application offers the following subscription tiers:
- Free — Basic free plan for single-store operations, with limited amount of transactions and features.
- Plus — Advanced plan with additional features for a single store, with unlimited amount of transactions.
- Pro — Premium plan for managing multiple store locations, with unlimited amount of transactions and features.
- 3.2. Certain features of the Application may be restricted based on your subscription plan. The Service Provider reserves the right to modify subscription plans, pricing, and feature availability at any time, with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.
- 3.3. If payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the respective platform's payment terms and refund policies apply. You agree to comply with the payment terms of the platform through which you subscribe.
- 3.4. The Service Provider reserves the right to change pricing for subscription plans. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect the current billing period of active subscriptions.
4. Acceptable Use
- 4.1. You agree to use the Application only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- 4.2. You shall not:
- Use the Application for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract the source code of the Application.
- Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Application.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Application or its servers.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
- Use the Application to store or transmit malicious code or harmful content.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Application without written consent from the Service Provider.
5. Intellectual Property
- 5.1. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application — including but not limited to its design, code, graphics, logos, and the "Leci POS" brand — remain the exclusive property of the Service Provider.
- 5.2. You retain ownership of all business data you input into the Application (products, transactions, customer records, etc.). The Service Provider does not claim ownership of your business data.
6. Business Data & Your Responsibilities
- 6.1. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of all data you enter into the Application, including product information, pricing, customer details, and transaction records.
- 6.2. The Application is a tool to assist your business operations. The Service Provider is not responsible for any business decisions you make based on data, reports, or AI-generated recommendations provided by the Application.
- 6.3. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical business data. While the Application provides cloud synchronization, the Service Provider does not guarantee against data loss.
7. AI Business Assistant
- 7.1. The Application includes an AI-powered business assistant that analyzes your business data to provide insights, recommendations, and analytics. This feature is powered by third-party AI services (OpenRouter / DeepSeek).
- 7.2. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered as professional financial, legal, or business advice. You acknowledge that AI responses may contain inaccuracies.
- 7.3. Your business data is sent to third-party AI service providers to generate responses. By using the AI assistant, you consent to this data processing. The Service Provider ensures that only the data necessary for generating insights is transmitted.
- 7.4. The AI assistant has token usage limits that may vary based on your subscription plan and session.
8. Third-Party Services
The Application utilizes the following third-party services, each with their own Terms and Conditions:
- Google Play Services
- Supabase — Authentication, database, and cloud synchronization
- Google Sign-In — Social authentication
- Apple Sign-In — Social authentication (iOS)
- OpenRouter — AI model routing for the business assistant
- WAHA API — WhatsApp messaging integration for receipt delivery
The Service Provider is not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of these third-party services.
9. Device Permissions
The Application may request the following device permissions:
- Camera — Required for taking product photos, store logo photos, and scanning barcodes.
- Photo Library / Gallery — Required for selecting product images and store logos from your device.
- Bluetooth — Required for connecting to and printing on Bluetooth thermal receipt printers.
- Internet — Required for cloud synchronization, authentication, AI assistant, and WhatsApp integration.
- Location (Android only) — Required by the Android operating system for Bluetooth device scanning. The Application does not use your location for tracking, geolocation services, or any purpose other than Bluetooth functionality.
10. Device Security
The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking (iOS) or rooting (Android) your device. Removing software restrictions imposed by the official operating system may expose your device to security vulnerabilities and may result in the Application not functioning correctly. The Service Provider is not responsible for any issues arising from the use of modified devices.
11. Internet Connectivity
- 11.1. Many features of the Application require an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data), including cloud sync, authentication, AI assistant, and WhatsApp integration.
- 11.2. The Application supports offline functionality for core POS operations (sales, product management) with local database storage. Data will synchronize to the cloud when connectivity is restored.
- 11.3. The Service Provider is not responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity due to lack of internet access. You are responsible for any data charges incurred by your mobile network provider while using the Application.
12. Limitation of Liability
- 12.1. The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service Provider makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Application's reliability, accuracy, or availability.
- 12.2. The Service Provider shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the Application.
- Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the Application's data, reports, or AI-generated content.
- Loss of business data, revenue, or profits.
- Unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to maintain credential security.
- Actions or failures of third-party services integrated with the Application.
- 12.3. The Service Provider relies on third-party services to provide certain functionalities. The Service Provider accepts no liability for any loss resulting from the unavailability or malfunction of these third-party services.
13. Application Updates & Termination
- 13.1. The Service Provider may release updates to the Application from time to time. You agree to install updates when available to ensure continued functionality and security.
- 13.2. The Service Provider reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Application (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice.
- 13.3. The Service Provider may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:
- (a) All rights and licenses granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
- (b) You must stop using the Application and, if necessary, delete it from your device.
- (c) The Service Provider may, at its discretion, allow you to export your business data before account deletion.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
15. Changes to These Terms and Conditions
The Service Provider may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, the Service Provider will make reasonable efforts to notify you via the Application or email.
